Հոգին ավանդելով հայրն ասաց իր որդիներին.

-Իմ որդիներ, ես ոչինչ չունեմ ձեզ թողնելու, միայն այս հողը և այգին, և այնտեղ կա թաղված գանձ: Սկզբից վայելեք հողը և կգտնեք գանձը:

Հոր մահից հետո որդիները գնացին այգի և սկսեցին քրքրել, բայց չգտեն այնտեղ ոսկի կամ արծաթ: Քանզի նրանք երբեք չէին վարել ինչպես որ պետք է, նույն տարում տվեց առատ խաղողի ողկույզներ:
